After about 30 minutes of driving my cagiva prima 50 around the streets i went along the open road passing 9k rpm in to the power band in every gear then it suddenly dopped to around 4k and bike slowed down i tried going past 9k and rpms dropped and slowed down i tried in each gear with no luck then i got to a quite road i tried again and worked perfect what happend ? Is something ready to go?

I'm not familiar with that model, but I would be checking the wiring between sensors and the CDI/ECU - including stand switches, plus loose spark plug cap, HT lead arcing, etc.

If that checks out, I would then start looking at fuel filters and blocked carb jets.

is there any misfiring or back firing / rough running or smoking from the exhaust when the revs drop?

Thanks for the replys well i changed out the plug and took it out after more than a hour never had the issue so took it to collage about 30 mins drive no issues plug was pretty ild too

Do you mean oiled? Valve or ring will need replacing (if heavily oiled), or maybe something simple as sorting the jets, but a pic of the oiled plug would be great before making guesses.

I meant old it's was last on the road in 05 so who knows how old the plug was

Well when ever I cleaned or replaced plugs it was fine then recently I lost the power band Shocked I took air box off to notice air filter was dust and everywhere so I took carb off and cleaned it put it together and it ran no power band then it done it again around 9k and dropped checked plug was right colour it's gotten so bad I try drive it slows down won't pick up some times just stalls or picks up then again and need to stop and start it it won't even go 1/2 a mile without the issue now what's up???
