I had a problem with the starter button on my R1 & after tinkering with the switch and relays etc, now when i turn on the ignition the tacho needle shoots up stays there for about 2 secs & then drops off, this keeps repeating every 5 secs even when engine is running.
Can any help me on this. One thing if i pull out the ignition fuse the tacho needle stops moving.

That's a fault code indicator. What RPM does it indicate when it does this?

According to the chart it's a problem with the fuel level indicator circuit... did you have the tank off by any chance?

Blitsz, I was being serious and trying to help. The one you left disconnected has a green plug on it. I've left it off accidently on my R1 after putting the tank back on. No need to rate the post boring when I'm helping.
