Very upset to find that Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor isn't on any of the voting lists.

None the less, XCOM EK is a game I've erred about buying for some time, so to grab it for free (or at the cost of 5 minutes) is a bonus Thumbs Up

I got an email with a link in it, I followed the link and registed my steam account etc. Then it asked me to log in with the account I registered my steam account against.

I have logged into steam, greenmangames and fireplay and theres nothing showing up in any of them.

Maybe it hates me or I did something retarded somewhere along the line.

The original scarred me mentally so badly I can't play these sorts of games any more.



The chrysalids terror missions... *shivers* first turn every soldier primed two grenades and or a high explosive.

Then you got mind controlled. Your trooper with the rocket launcher would turn round and shoot into the skyranger wiping out your entire team..

Or the way you had to use half of your squad for suicide recon again carrying 3+ primed at 0 high explosives.

Sure but that doesn't defend against chrysalids also you generally spend the first month with no armour, the second month in personal armour and only by the 3rd month do you get powered armour.

You should get an email with a code in it. You then goto games on steam, "redeem a code"

How's the difficulty as you progress? I found recent UFO games went from easy-peasy to bodybags very fast - is the incline a little more gentle here?

It's somewhat selective, ie, for a lot of the missions you'll do, you have a choice of 3 events and it rates them on a tiered difficulty scale Smile

So... 4 hours in, and it's been challenging at a couple of points because i went way above my level of skill (or lack of) and somewhat easy on the lower difficulties. HTH
