Morning/afternoon,

A lady friend is looking to purchase a PC for her daughter that is capable of playing the Sims 4. Other than that the only requirements are that it should be a desktop, pre built and cheap. Could the combined might of BCF help me out please?

Everyone wants the best, but they don't want to pay for it.

Cansa, that machine will play the Sims.. awfully, awful resolution and will lag like fuck when loads of stuff starts going on.

What's the max budget OP? £400 will get you 8gb RAM, i5 and a smaller dedicated card pre-built. Pretty future-proof at the moment too.

Integrated graphics ... please no!
I've got a HD3000 in my laptop and although it's "supported" by a great number of games.
It will still burn through my table/leg/floor/foundations/center of the earth while attempting to play FTL, Bomberman or even Theme Hospital.

Stttaaappppppppp!!!!

If onboard graphics aren't good enough then you'll be wanting a pair of Radeon R9 295 X2 cards running in crossfire. Thumbs Up

I notice that you've only specified one GPU. Are you sure this system will be powerful enough?
