I'd say try to get it patched up, metal bracket and a pop rivet should hold it Laughing

Not experienced with such things but any reason not to use gaffer tape then?

All the best

i remember when working on vehicles was pretty easy. Now you have to be a dwarf contortionist to get into places. The video on You tube that shows you how to do it did state that the part was in an awkward place but seriously!!!

My hubby has hands like shovels and was never going to get anywhere near. Saying that when im attempting to change a light bulb i end up bleeding. I hate Polos. When I buy a new car i will go in with a list of what standard stuff is not impossible to do at home, I will choose the car on that basis Confused

Sounds like a shite day.

If you put a tiny bit of veg oil on the grease proof paper and spread it well with your fingers, the meringue mix won't stick to the paper Cool

For the biscuits use smaller portions, takes a bit of getting to know the dimensions of your baking trays
