So I wonder if the kind ol' people of BCF can help out PLEASE.

I'm looking for the front mid section (the panel that is mostly missing in the following picture):

I've been doing a lot of searching over the last few days (mainly ebay and gumtree, but contacted a vfr breaker too, but had no reply yet), so far all I've been able to find has been a fibreglass replacement.... which would be an absolute last resort option (I'd probably consider getting rid of the bike first).

Obviously colour and condition don't really matter too much (within reason with the condition though), as long as it has the little vent pipe and fairing fasteners.

I'll try a mechanic mate in the morning, he's got a load of older fairing parts hanging round the walls at his place think I remember some Viffer stuff . I'd just call that a fairing lower BTW not a mid panel, might help with your search.

edit....sorry, he'd only got some 800 bits.

I've been searching for fairings in general to widen the results, just one of the searches threw up a result from here 2 years ago and that's what the person called them in his thread.

Have you posted on bikersoracle? No doubt you have like but might also be worth widening your search to the US and trying VFRworld?

Quick opinion.... I've found a left hand fairing which with postage will work out just over £435.... does that seem about right?

Ebay listing here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-HONDA-LEFT-FAIRING-SIDE-PANEL-VFR750F-1990-93-64470-MT4-000-VFR-BLACK-/261642484809?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item3ceb1b7c49

You'll get a complete aftermarket fairing AND paint it for that much.

Try SM Motorcycles in Northern Ireland, I am almost certain they have a brand new full fairing and screen but it is red for that model.

Have you tried DK Motorcycles (01785-861100) Newcastle-u-Lyme, usually good for used spares.

Just a heads up but unless they've changed DK motorcycles got/had a very bad reputation regarding customer service. Probably way in the past though.

A good few years ago I got a side panel from them via their eBay shop. Described as perfect. It wasn't, lugs missing and a slight crack. They took great exception to the -ve eBay feedback.
