Hi guys I've just bought a drift hd and I was v wondering what would be the best micro SD for it?

Not sure if specific to Drifts but class 10 cards are considered good for write speeds.

Anything class 10 will be fine. I have a Sandisk Ultra UHS 64gb and a cheap PNY class 10 32gb from Currys. Footage on both is identical.

Don't use Samsung, Extreme / Ultra UHS-1. In mine it wouldn't recognise a 64GB SD card. Thumbs Down

Out of interest how do you know they are genuine?

I've bought a fair few things recently that despite being 'genuine' on ebay I have more than 1 concern with them.

Not doubting you, just is there a definate way to tell?

Hoping the one you linked will go in a Samsung S5 ok I may get one!

The Ghost HD manual says 32GB max, it may work with larger ones but not recognise all the space because more than 32GB is impossible. Laughing
Ghost S may take 64GB - not sure.

I like the Toshiba ones cheap from here.

Sandisk have a reputation of being the best but are also the most affected by fake copies.
Samsung are known to cause problems due to something permanently pre-installed probably their own devices need to find.

As a guide one battery will record for about two and a half hours and half fill a 32GB card on 1080p setting, it's sensible to have a second one even for one long day trip if you have a second battery or can top it up.

There are sites that give all the info on checking them.

These come in the correct, original packaging from a recognised sandisk seller and the cards work at the specified rate and capacity.

I've had duds before so i'm very careful.

I use these in a gopro3, as said above, not all devices will take larger size capacity cards.
