İ actually reside in Turkey but i am British. Here the ajs brand goes by the name of Regal Raptor and lists the Daytona but no one has a clue about the product here....or just dont talk about it!!
From the net i have only come across three reviews and they varied wildly!...to me it looks good and isnt too long like other AJS bikes.....it is a twin as opposed to the 250s that are singles.

Any info please!!??? thanks Greg

Well, they've only sold 40 of the "350s" in the UK, so you're unlikely to find anyone who has one.

That's info, although not particularly helpful.

is there a reason for such a low amount???...are they just sitting in stockrooms because no one wants them? or is it the 350cc sizing that is an issue?...i am guessing at reasons!!

Possibly to expensive for a bike that has no reputation?
Price may be that higher than it needs to be because of profiteering middle men?

1. It's a cruiser.
2. It's Chinese.
3. £3,400 can buy an awful lot of non cruiser, non Chinese bike.

Well, it's an AJS, and who the chuff are AJS these days?

Granted, there is a dealer near to me, but they only stock the 125s.

The "350s" are actually 320s that claim just 17kW/23bhp. It's actually impressive how they've found an engine with so little power. You can ride them on an A2 license, but you can't use them to sit an A2 test.

I actually find the SPT "350" more interesting as it's got a 28 (yes, twenty eight) litre tank that will see you doing 450+ miles between fill ups, although you'll likely have the throttle nailed to the stop all the way.

They sold 4 (four) of those in the UK before giving up.

Where i live they are about the cheapest bike on the marked...the only ones cheaper are real unknown chinese with absolutely no reputation. Bikes hold there value secondhand here as well. ..a 350 here is 2800....

What other cruisers are in the same price bracket? licensing issues for this power dont apply to Turkey because once you past your first test you can ride anything up to 650cc!...licenses dont apply to me and resale values don't suffer

Depends on your local prices.

Do you have any Hyosung dealers? The GV 650 Aquila might (I stress might) be available for less than Japanese cruisers or Harleys.

My personal view is that parts supply is critical, so I'd go for whatever everyone else is riding, or something for which you can easily source parts yourself.

An new Aquila costs 2,5 times the price of a new Daytona. İn Turkey there are different tariffs on import items from different countries.

A 7 year old Aquila is the same price as a new Daytona!!......secondhand prices are also silly because there is an under supply issue too.

İ don't want to spend more than about 2 to 2,5k because it is just a toy!
