He must be pissing himself at how quickly the PC wankers get their knickers in a twist over what he says. Laughing

Beer in the cup holder, oh God, the kittens Thumbs Up

I'd be tempted to give it all the fvck up if I were him, tbh.
He's minted enough to just say, 'Ok pc brigade, you win, fvck it all' and live his life out of the spotlight.

As there's still couple more months until the new series of Top Gear starts, I wonder who he'll piss off next. Mr. Green

Who gives a flying Fuck , I've done it many a time .

He has ever right to do that.

Over here however, that's another question.

Just shy of a death sentance for an open container of booze .

I'm getting rather bored of all the shit people have a go at him for.

I'm pretty sure he just does it to wind them up as well, like winding up a sibling when you're younger and you carry on doing it only cos they react. Bet if nobody cared then he wouldn't bother so much.

Don't see what the issue is with the vast majority of the stuff he says/does tbh, people know what they can reasonably expect from him, so if you're gonna get bothered by it then don't pay attention to it.

Like people who seem to continually watch Top Gear just to complain about something, instead of just not watching it in the future.

Of course he does. If he didn't want the reaction he got he would be more careful what he says.

The sad part is he's not even trying, and people still react.

why do 'people' care so much about who said or did this and that? seriously, who cares? Laughing

I think he is very careful what he says. The 'Slope' on the bridge could be taken either way. He can just deny it. Beer in the cup holder. Any different fro the case of Stella I had on the from seat of my car yesterday? He never said anything about drinking it while driving.

He knows exactly what he says.

had a quick scan though the article, could not see any mention of the beverage being open, let alone consumed - pretty sure you can put it where you like in the car providing you don't drink it

B&Q do small handy hatchets that come with a pouch hat fits on your belt. Just right for a night out in Liverpool/Bradford/Darlington

Go on............... complain........ Wink

I have Gaffa tape a piece of carpet and a shovel.................. just in case the date goes wrong........................

If Clarkson said just one of those he would be in the crapper.

He knows just how to push the buttons and gets the reaction to keep in peoples minds until his next series. I think it is brilliant.

Because someone else (not me, you understand, I'm far too smart) might be influenced to emulate him.

Think of the children/mongs.

He seems to publish in May and September, looks to be overdue to squeeze a Xebusmass book out.

You mean you haven't gone out, got yourself a HGV licence just so you can kill a few prostitutes?

I purposely go up a very slight incline so that I can say slope.

Warms the cockles of my heart that JC can raise the blood pressure of so many, mealy mouthed, tossers so easily!
The PC nazis are wound up because of their failiure to infect the entire population with their, pernicious, bollox!
Keep up the good work Mr Clarkson! Thumbs Up

Lol... love that. Sums up his approach in one neat little sentence. Well done. Thumbs Up

As I've said in previous threads and also tend to say in real life, Clarkson is just playing a character. That's the exaggerated TV personality version of him doing all the trolling, the real him is a clever publicity stunt merchant with some skill.

I like him. He knows how to create entertainment products that the masses will enjoy, and how to get up the noses of people whose whole purpose in life is to get offended by every little thing.

Strangely most of these complainers will be following him, just waiting to be empowered by being offended with the added bonus of their comments possibly being retweeted. If they're really lucky they may get quoted in the papers.
