I'm looking for a phone holder after my last failed attempt.

I need to look at the pics for the one i need so i search for 'motorbike phone holder' this should be easy enough but i have to contend with twowheeljunkie and their 6000 listings of phone holders under every single bike ever made, including stuff that isn't suitable for phone holders.

Shit like this annoys me so much, i wouldn't buy from them even if it was an ideal case, delivered for a fiver.

So stop using ebay for it... And go to one of the many retailer that sell on the internet.....

Of course you pay a bit more. But what do you want.....

When searching, click Advanced next to the big blue search button, scroll down to Sellers, you'll see 'include' within a small dropdown box, change it to 'exclude' and type in said seller in the adjacent box. Job jobbed.

Well, what i'd actually like is for ebay to stop the stupidity.

I've also been looking for a rain cover, same thing, every bike ever made is listed under 'motorbike cover' there is no need, who actually searches for zzr rain cover? and if they did, i assume it's because they want a custom fit one, not a universal medium that fits half the bikes on the planet.

I suffered this very thing last night when I was searching for bar end indicators, fucking thousands of ads for the same thing but with a different model name in the title, wankers.

I've seen adverts along the lines of "CBR125 fairing bolts" or whatever they were, but basically half a dozen bog standard M6 bolts for a fiver.

If I could be arsed with so many listings, Id make a fortune doing it myself.

the best i can find is about a tenner to return this to cork, recorded.

He says send it standard but i'm not willing too take a chance on it getting stolen or for him to say it's not arrived.

I did ask if he could suggest somewhere to do it cheaper or to arrange collection on his account to save money.

I then offered to send it to a UK buyer if he had someone else who'd bought one and it's cost him £3.80 recorded, the buyer need never know.

He's come back saying he's not paying more than it cost to send it out as per ebay rules, i presume he ignored the 'i'll send it on' bit.

I've now replied, re offering to send it on to his customer or alternatively, i can put in a complaint, leave a negative and sell on the case myself, i'll probably lose less that way.

See what he says now

This is as good a reason to not buy from morrison-bhp on ebay as anything, they send out the wrong item to that pictured and then it costs the buyer money to send it back.

Buying from overseas is looking like a bad idea, i just can't be doing with the hassle.

Got too agree ebay is getting w@nk. Used to be good but like you say you search for stuff and stupid amounts of listings pop up which are unrelated to what you want.

Selling on there is becoming a ball ache will the BS paypal claims from buyers trying to rip you off.

I always deal with scenarios like that the same way. Leave negative feedback asap without contacting them first, then remove it once refund is given. Or if I dont think I'll get a refund, open a case saying I never received it. (Assuming it wasn't sent recorded)

We have sold over 40 of these and never an issue.

like I said your welcome to return the item no hassle at all, we will refund in full incl postage also refund the return postage price to the same value it cost to send to you.

Well good on you, 40 people who are happy to take an item different to that listed.

He's stuck on the rules, sod any business sense and keeping customers happy, just stick with the rules and get a negative.

I assume he has an account to get stuff sent here for £3 a go, royal mail and others wanted a tenner to return it, so i have to lose £7 because he's selling shit he doesn't have.

If anyone wants a bike-it rain proof/resistant handle bar case for £15, delivered, get in touch. (I paid £18)

How are you sending it?

Something like that should drop into a jiffy bag and weight next to nothing.

This is my most hated twattery. This listing appears top at "Sorted: Cheapest plus postage" as they list two fucking bullet connectors (at rip off prices too) with their product, which is stupidly expensive.

That's becoming annoyingly common. As usual, eBay are lagging behind and I can't see an appropriate Report Item category for it. Sad times.

Signed for sticker, rub top right corner of jiffy bag with sand paper to make it look like stamps came off, bung in post box and let him pay postage on collection - like a seller did to me recently

Royal Fail sent me a card saying not enough postage so I had the seller re-fund the cost Royal Fail wanted to charge for me to get the item so all's good.
