Hi all passed my test on the 10th October so the van van had to go, i sold her after only a few days of advertising and was lucky to come across a mint K5 Hornet 600 in burnt orange.

I've never ridden a hornet but I think they're a good looking bike, is a k 5 around a 2005 model?

Thanks guys, i paid £2150 she has 22k,full honda service history and one owner. The bloke i bought it from only done a few k a year and has been garaged all its life he has really looked after it well. I was originally after a blue one but after seeing this i had to have it.

I would think that's a good price for a clean 2005 hornet with that mileage .

Thanks, nothing planed just yet but will be looking to get a nice exhaust when i have the money.

Well done on passing but why ditch the van???

They'll improve your brake performance by resticting expansion to the OEM hoses, thus maor piston power!

That and it'll smarten up the bike a lot.

I'm not sure about orange ones,I think it will look a bit tacky.
Maybe alli or black?
I'm not sure what the brakes are like on a hornet but braided hoses are a usually a good upgrade.
