Clock lights for Kawasaki ER5

Hi guys,

My rev clock light sometimes doesn't work so I plan to have a look at it. Upon googling I discovered that people seem to replace the standard bulbs with LED's.

I have few questions to ask. First of all I found few different answers given by people of what type and how many of the bulbs are needed some say 4 some say 3 and the types range from T5 5w 12v to T10 5w 12v.

I got a 2000 ER500 A4 if I am right with fuel indicator. How many and what type led bulbs would I need to replace lights on both clocks?

Also are stock bulbs clear or green? I've seen few pictures where peoples clocks were blue as well.

The manual states the gauge cluster contains:

3 x 12v 1.7w T10
4 x 12v 3w T6.5
3 x 12v 1.7w T6.5

It would seem to me the 3w ones are the warning lights.

The current colour of the dash is green so I'm wondering if the current bulbs are clear with diles being white or are the bulbs green with diles being white ? Any idea?

They'd have white bulbs with green filtering on the dials.
