Have you contemplated the insecurity implications of this? Your bike will now start without a key. Is it now several times easier to hotwire?

The alarm system is also a imobiliser, how would it make my bike easier to rob?

remote start is for idiots and posers.

which one are you?

It's ok to be both, just not on this forum.

You have removed the need for a physical token, that is your key. An immobiliser requires an extra piece of information, a signal from a transponder, in order to activate the ignition. By removing the requirement for a key you are trusting in the security of one device. A attacker with a few bits of radio equipment and a laptop with the right software may well be able to intercept and use your key. Modern equipment for this is small enough to be wearable and concealable.

Furthermore if you have bypassed your key system with electronics that are easily accessed by removing a side panel or seat, it is likely that you have made the vehicle easier to hotwire.

You may also have invalidated your insurance by removing the most basic level of security.

Anyone waiting for the 'oops, bike was in gear when I tried the remote start' post with anticipation, and gifs of folding chairs and popcorn?

Cheap alarms may keep cats, children and photo-seeking tourists away from your motorcycle and annoy your neighbours, a cheap immobiliser will most likely immobilise when you least need it to, and anything that increases the complexity of starting or stopping the bike will bite you in the ass.
