Wank video is wank.

If I want to see a picture I want to see, well, a picture.

No fancy panning in and out. No retarded "artistic" angles.

Besides, it's still a Honda, it'll rust to pieces in six months. If I was in the market for a 125 in 2014 I'd wait until one of the Chinese companies makes a copy for half the price.

https://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/new-honda-cb125f/25906.html

Specifically:

Quote:
The current CBF125 has been the UK’s best-selling 125 machine for the past four years but suffers from premature rusting. Build quality has now been improved, according to Honda.

Honda UK say: ‘The 2015 CB125F is drawn from a fresh gene pool and while it maintains the previous model's core strengths, it builds heavily on quality, ease of use and a desirable new look. It's a great bike to simply get riders where they need to be - or from where to begin a lifetime of motorcycling.'

A large part of why I bought a CBF is that it looks a little sporty. That and I thought Honda were trustworthy.

Apart from getting rid of the belly pan I don't like the look of this, the front is horrid.

I'd have to see one in the flesh before I could decide whether I like it or not...

When the CBF first came out I rather liked it and wanted one, but think they look a bit Sick these days - maybe from seeing them around a bit more

If I was going to buy a new 125 I'd put my money on the KTM RC125, you get much more for your money!

Not really. Yeah it looks smart but it costs even more than an R125. You'd be paying £4500 for something that would still struggle on a motorway.

CBFs would be alright if it wasn't for the rust. If mine does start to disintegrate then I won't buy another Honda.

How's it going to be faster with less power and torque? Laughing

Did you spot the significant claim?

john liddell wrote:
the bike has been made and sold in in thailand for last 4 years and is viewed as a turkey and is no longer sold here

Chap has posted informed stuff before. It's perfectly plausible, I can't see an equivalent in HMSI (Honda India's) range, and the CB500 variants are made in Thailand.

Until proven otherwise, I'd assume that it's just cheaper to make than the Stunner/CBF, rather than being better in any way.

It's not a "version", it's (allegedly) a different bike made in a different factory. Honda make loads of vaguely similar 125 commuter stylee bikes globally, it looks like they've just picked a different one to foist on us.

We may find that it's a complete dog and that people replace the CG with the CBF125 (HMSI Stunner) in their hearts and minds as the small Honda that represents the Good Old Days when they were all about quality.
