new master cyl and bleeding.

master cylinder split, replaced seals correctly, and while bleeding the lever would 'jam' a bit until I closed off the bleed nipped and pumped the brake lever a small bit at a time, then the lever would build pressure and work correctly.

I think there could be air in the system still, but I've bled it for a lifetime...

im using the bike right now, brakes are average, but if im stopped and not moving i can easily make the lever hit the bars.

I have found that with angled or clip-on type handlebars,the master cylinder angle can sometimes cause some air to be trapped.So what you could try doing is to unbolt the master cylinder from the bar and to tip it up so that any air that might be trapped can escape via the small bleed hole in the master cylinder.

Does one of the brake hoses go from one caliper to the other,looped across the back of the front mudguard?If this is the case,it may well be that there is air trapped in this loop.In this case,the easiest way to get rid of any trapped air is to unbolt the furthest caliper in the system and to raise it above the other and ask for some help to bleed that caliper while the master cylinder is actuated
