so you have a bike that is constantly live?

has it been robbed by any chance?

an you have to pull the plug to stop it?

do you wear a rubber glove to do this?

As above, I would go with it has been nicked/attempted at some point hence the key being irrelevant, doesn't it have a kill switch or is that fubared too?

In any case I would investigate the ignition switch/barrel and go from there

hi it does have the 6 pin cdi but i dont want to bodge cause im selling it so is there any other way?

Yes, two other ways infact.

1. Get a multimeter out, find the wiring fault & fix it.

2. Buy a new wiring loom. If this doesnt fix it, buy a new ignition switch. If that doesnt fix it buy a new CDI. If that doesnt fix it buy a new coil. If that doesn't fix it buy a new dashboard. If that doesn't fix it then buy a new *Insert part with wires coming out of it here* so on and so forth.

Option 2 sounds fun
