just smashed my phone so need a new one,
i want a smallish screen, no more than 4-4.3"
a decent camera 5-8+MP with a flash
atleast a gig of ram
sd card slot
android only
would like it to be waterproof but not essential
like it to be around the £100 mark, give or take

not a sony unless they have decided to re-release the xperia active

i quite like the look of the htc 0ne mini
any other sugesstions

S4 mini? It's not waterproof though.

never used a motorolla phone, so might have a look at that,
had a look at the s4 mini, and while i reckon they are fairly good phones,
it didnt feel very sturdy

To stay around your £100 mark. There's always the old Samsung Galaxy S2. Install CyanogenMod to bring it up to date with software. It's got the screen size you want, an 8GB camera with flash, a gig of ram, a micro sd card slot, runs on android and I've seen used ones for around £80.

The thing is, it's quite old, I'm thinking about the hardware, (2011 stuff).

well ive decided to go for the htc amaze(balls)

the mrs has a htc incredible which she has had for years which takes awesome photos, better than our compact camera,
and never crashes,
the amaze(balls) was released at the same time (2011) but has a dual core, instead of a single core and looks to have the same camera,

and for £78 isnt too far off the current specs of new similary sized phones,

Let's just hope it really is a new/genuine phone. I don't trust phones coming from China.
