Nobody spotted this yet? Brought to my attention on Facebook. Wasn't struck at first but actually having read a bit more about the features and the many videos appearing on you tubs I'm smitten, its got more appeal than any of the other 2015 bikes coming out:

Disappointing when compared to the H2R and RCV thing. Also disappointing when compared to the S1000RR, and RSV4 IMO. Yamaha have dropped a bollock with this one.

compared to h2r and rcv is mental talk,rcv is not actually a real thing yet and honda are talking £200,000 as a ball park guess for on the road price.
h2r isnt a road bike.
h2 is a road bike but wont be able to compete in wsb due to forced induction(unless new rules are added)
bmw have given up on wsb
so as a marketing tool if this bike does well in wsb against the zx10 and the rsv4 it will put itself right in the fanboy mix.
i like the look of it in real life,it looks crap in some pictures.
will never buy one as im off sportbikes forever due to injury and fatness.
but in this world where naked sportbike derivitives are very fashionable i think yam should do a crossplane fz1 to sell more units.

I like the styling of the h2 and its got a lot of torque but its heavier and I bet it guzzles petrol with that supercharger and it only develops 200bhp which is same as new r1. They're both nice bikes.

Nice, but something rubs me the wrong way about that front. Can't put my finger on it but there's something there that looks weird, maybe those mirrors or the big white space that looks like it's asking for a number, or maybe those round lights that look like the ones people add to their KTMs? Shocked
