Stuck in sunny Pembrokeshire at the mo, missing the wheels.
Been thinking of the wares I bought while at the NEC, and pondering if the custom monitors have made their way to my door yet.

So go on....make me more miserable, show us what bargains you got.
Extra points for pics.

I got some custom in-ear monitors, a Reevu flip helmet and another Q3 scala rider kit.

I managed to order a spare black visor and 2x pin lock inserts for said visors fitted before I left....pics when I get back. I promise.

Shark Race R Pro.

Without doubt, the most comfortable thing I've ever squeezed my head into!

£300. Not really any cheaper than I could have got it online, but at least I got to make sure it fitted!

I got some Oxford Hot Hands. Some wrap-around heated grips, they are wicked, I should have got some years ago, combined with muffs, I don't think I'll ever suffer from the cold ever again.

Being so simple, just on or off, they burn my hands after a short while, so constantly going along turning them on and off again, I'm going to visit Maplins and try to get some sort of variable resistor type switch thing to splice into the harness. Thumbs Up

I wanted to try and get some throw-overs or something similar but nothing caught my fancy.

Just a cheap and cheerful paddock stand for 15 quid supplied with
fitment for lifting by the swingarm and another £8 on some bobbin
hooks for it. I jazzed it up with stickers I picked up here and there
at the show and a few I already had. Apart from that nada.
Entered a few competitions to win kit and stuff. But had a try on of some
of those Handroid gloves... I thought they were awesome. There was
one guy selling them (non CE marked though??) for £120 a pair.
I was very tempted. I also have decided after seeing the Ghost Drift
cameras that I'd sooner have one of those instead of a go pro 4
which Mrs grr said she'would have a word with Santa for me about. Wink
For me the winning feature is simply that it looks less clumsy than the gopro
and that it has the wrist controller feature. Just got to find a good deal
on one now.

Look for Roadcraft School of Motorcycling on facebook. He was selling a few cameras at the weekend, reasonable like. Ships or not? No idea until you ask.

I only had a budget of £120 spending money, due to the fact I spent the other £400 on parts and mates-rates-labour MOTing my car a couple weeks ago.

I spent £100 of that on a floor-standing Biker Tidy. They were doing free P&P as their show offer, and weren't budging on price, but I managed to get them to throw in some extra hangars for free as well.

https://www.bits4motorbikes.co.uk/images/PartAccessoriesImages/Riding-Accessories/The-Floor-Standing-Biker-Tidy.jpg

Spent the remaining £20 on a one-way brake bleed valve (which I can use on the car as well), an Oxford Cruise control wrist thing for £3, and a greasy 1/2lb cheese burger and diet coke.

I had considered the RST Adventure II textiles, they RRP at £250/£200 for jacket and trou. I agreed with myself if I could get both for £350 then I would, but at the show they were £220/£180 so even if I had the money I wouldn't have paid that for them.

Saw a lot of helmets were going rather cheap, Helmet City had quite a lot that were more than 40% off RRP on the last Sunday, I think most of them may be older models though, like the Arai Quantum, Chaser and RX7, all of which have been replaced/updated with newer versions. Since I got myself a Shoei NXR a few months ago though so wasn't looking for a helmet, but next time I am I will probably wait until the show.

I've got the Rossi winter one, quite like it, though the visor seal could be slightly better. The sun visor isn't that useful either, doesn't do much...

Did you get the carbon ones? They have a hi and low setting.
