HI all.

So im thinking of modding my ybr 125 custom a little!

I dont mind that its just a 125 and ill grow out of it. Just want to try something.

Main tasks will be to change the bars for something a little lower, I have no leather chaps with tassles that they go with!

Also remove the luggage rail because i think its horrid.

My main question is. How would I go about re attaching the lights.

Ive seen one guy use his front fender as the rear!

https://www.landwood.fr/yamaha-ybr-125-street-tracker/

any advise would be gold.

Thanks all

Good shout, Ill take a look.

Wondering about making a bracket to hold the rear light, indicators and reg plate too.

Deffo need a better headlamp too. stock is atrocious!!

when i get my lower bars ill pop a pic up.

I heard from the guy who made his ybr in the link. He just took the seat off and bolted the front fender to the back, then drilled new holes for the tail light.

The indicators have their own brackets attached to the luggage rail.

so thats gonna have to be played around with!

Why by a 'custom' and then remove all the 'custom' bits and put standard bits on?

Why not buy a non-'custom' one in the first place?

Because it was a bargain with super low mileage. And the 'custom' is a different shape to the standard version, which lends itself quite nicely to lower bars and no rack.

Plus I couldnt afford genuine leather chaps to match it!

Hehe. Thanks boss. I appreciate that. A few lil bits to do.

But the big things (bars and rack) are done.

The plan was to put the front fender on the back and cut it down but it didnt really work out.

The rear fender is now a honda cr 450 fender. Originally planned to cut down and put on the front.

This would have been a long job for me, so putting it on the back was easier and seemed to do the trick.

that all cost £50

To be honest, I think you've approached the wrong forum if you want to butcher an already shit bike into something probably even more shit.

Try shitfighters or something equivelent.

And stop dragging up old threads. It makes you look even more like a cunt.

Enemied because of the above.
