Two wheels but minus the engine therefore I feel you guys should be up for this.......

Basically I have been in talks with my local council about developing a very poor attempt at a BMX track in Olton, Solihull. At the moment it stands as a single dirt circuit with two very small and sad looking lumps in it. The fact that the land is already designated as a "BMX Track" means that half the hard work is done as we will be merely developing what is already there. Myself and another guy have so far set up a facebook page and got some track building companies to submit designs and quotes. The council are very interested and already talking about looking for suitable funding streams. I shall be going into a second meeting with them in the coming weeks to hopefully push the project along some more and find out exactly what extra work (if any) will need to be done to secure the full amount.

Anyway, I'm pushing the facebook page to get as much support as possible to show interest. I would be most grateful if you could get on and click "like" for me.

He is the latest design which I'm incredibly excited about. I think that this looks soooo much fun.

If you haven't tried BMX track riding I can't recommend it highly enough. One of the best and most fun forms of cardio you'll ever do. You don't need to go there expecting to take off the jumps like Evil Kinevel. You can have just as much fun and get just as much from it by keeping both wheel son the ground. The art of just "pumping" alone is definitely a skill.

Thanks again

You give pedalists a whole area all to themselves, but will they stick to it? Rolling Eyes

They'll have no choice. The tarmac berms keep turning them back into the track. Once you're in there's no escape.
