Fair play for trying to hold on, I'm guessing he knew how much it was worth (probably his job) - I think he should've admitted defeat just before it catapulted him though!

I'd say it was a natural reaction to hold onto it. Just like anything involving balance of some sort. When it started to tip he naturally held on and tried to tip it back again.... but it was just far too much Laughing .
