125 was fun

I sold 900cc and bought 125cc. As far as I don't exceed speed limit much, it was enjoyable than I expected. TBH the reason I sold 900cc was expensive MOT cost here, and insurance. I wanted 250cc but insurance cost doesn't change between 900cc and 250cc here(even between hayabusa and GSR250). With 125cc I can use car insurance by adding option. During riding 900cc, I didn't have enough insurance for injury of myself cause adding it costs crazy. But with 125cc the option includes it and still very cheap.
We can't use motorway on under 125cc here, it must be the reason insurance is cheap, but now I can enjoy more on normal road even under speed limit. Tyres were ultra cheaper than 900cc. Very light weight and low seat height.
　This may be not good for long touring, but I could enjoy 120miles touring.
I chose YB125SP which is a mini cruiser version of YBR125. I liked its design which looks a little bit like SR400. CBR125R was also attractive but it had racy position, which cause me neck pain due to wearing glasses. MSX125 was too small, XTZ125 was a little bit expensive.
YB125SP is made by Yamaha china. I was worrying about its quality to be honest. It sounded like ki- ki- ki- ki-- from front axle on the next day of delivery , it was from meter gear, and disappeared after being greased up(and it was famous failure). Some user claims fuel drip from tank, but luckily mine was ok. Original tyres(some Taiwanese brand) were really slippy, I changed into IRC ones. I feel them really sticky now.
YB125SP is grey import here(like GN125), and maker doesn't guarantee them at all, and 1 year guarantee by seller only. But the price was really cheap. I hope this bike doesn't break soon.

Google would probably prove otherwise but I seem to remember it being mentioned somewhere that 400cc was the maximum engine size allowed for motorcycles in Indonesia.

Hi Kawashima-san if you can find ACF50 use it.

I'd be inclined to go around the bike checking the tightness of each nut, maybe grease the spindles, any pivot points like the rear brake. Have a peek under the fork gaiters.
Thought about accessories besides the top box? I'm thinking small flyscreen.

Maybe some replacement foot pegs for when you've worn the original down.
