Went to triumph the other day and test rode a street 675.
Spoke to the salesman afterwards and asked what deals he could sort out for a brand new street triple abs and got the following offer;

£7449 OTR with hugger and quickshifter.

Is this a good deal?

If not what sort of deal should be had?

More like the start of winter.

£355 retail value of accessories plus fitting; doesn't sound like he's that interested in selling it. Triumph's sales have been strong this year - if you want hungry salesmen you might have to think Kawasaki or Suzuki.

It's an OK price from what I've been looking.

I've seen Gladius with 10 or less miles for 3.5k in eBay. Not that I'd get one but that seems VERY low...

I don't think you will get money off, it's more what you can get them to throw in.

I'm saying that because I'm on my 3rd new Triumph and only on 1 did I get anything over the Triumph official offers, and that was clothing that was on sale anyway.

You need to sit down on the internet or with MCN or similar and look up all the big dealers for the bike you are looking to buy.

They buy and sell in bigger numbers so are happier to sell for less as they can make money elsewhere (servicing, sales of clothing etc).

I bought my Triumph (2010 street triple) from Laguna and the deal was much better than most other places. Places like this may also offer delivery (at cost) to wherever you are in the country.

Look up your nearest big dealers and go from there.

List price at the time was £6.5k-ish and I paid less than that (£6.2 or 6.3k I think) including crash bungs, an alarm, rear hugger and a few other bits.
