Well it happened.

I park up at work, pop on the disc lock, nip in. 4 mins later, a white van pulls up, reverses over to the bike, two guys throw it in the back and it's gone.

in total, from casing it, I'm convinced they followed me, to them leaving it took 24 mins.

In that time, 3 cars and 6 people walked past.

Only one even got a look at the guys or the van.

I have CCTV footage of the whole thing, passed to the police, along with a description of the van and bloke driving it.

My mate was the officer who came down. He said he's gonna do everything he can to find it.

The worst thing?

A few months ago my insurer asked me to send in my NCB proof which I did, but i forgot one, so they called, and they said they'd send them back and i'd send them all in when i found the other one, but they didn't post them back or answer e-mails, i was still chasing it up[ when this happens so I don't think they'll pay out.

Basically, I'm f***, can't afford another bike

Thats a nightmare mate. I think when people see a couple of guys putting a bike into a van, they assume that one of them owns it. Did you have an alarm on it? Not that it would have mattered.

Hope you get it back! Thumbs Up

Where abouts do you live? What sort of bike is it. This might be useful. Someone might spot it.

How people can turn a blind eye to these things is beyond me, if you don't want to confront them, then at least phone the Police FFS. I couldn't stand there knowing some poor tw*ts bike is being lifted.

Did you get the plate etc? What bike was it?

People here without alarms should learn from this. (And yes I know any bike can be stolen, but we need to make it harder for them) Thumbs Up

Cheers Guys.

This Is a Universal post, I'm putting it everywhere I can.

Stolen today from

loughborough, leicestershire, East Midlands.

Aprila RS250 Reg: S616 KRB - Black model, silver frame, black wheels, silver & red Aprilia logo, 1998 model, single seat conversion, mini indicators, new brakes, custom aprilia plate.

the cnuts in a van followed me to work, cased it out, and then loaded his bike into a van.

The van was a small white mini-van, not unlike a Daihatsu or a Minibuck. Two guys in it, both white, mid twenties. one wore a darg jacket, a fleece or bomber, a black cap, had very piercing eyes, fidgeted a lot and looked nervous. the other wasn't seen.

they headed to e2save.com (near staples on the loughborough Industrial estate and puleld into the parking lot at exactly 08:36am. they cased it out, and made their move at 08:51am - taking approx 30s to get it into the van, and leaving.

They left up Belton road towards Nottingham/Lough train station.

Anyone who spots a similar bike, knows of any parts, a similar van, any other instances, please get in touch and let's get these W**kers (excuse my language)

Thanks.
