Normally with a near miss, something along the lines of $hit that was close.

During my accident I was surprisingly calm. You get that horrible feeling when you know you're going to hit something, but my actual thought processes were:
I'm going to hit this van
I'm being thrown from the bike
I'm flying through the air [little scared at this point I'll admit ], how am I going to land (and on what)
Then after landing the pain takes over.

Cant see exactly but as there's a 2 on the left of his 3 digit display, this suggests
he was doing in excess of 200kph or 120 mph.
I'll guess thats a wee bit above the limit on that road.
Had he collided with the car, who would you blame?

Yes I've had few close calls, sometimes my own stupidity

Haven't had any near misses on the bike.... but I don't think I'd start praying while some crap dance music was playing.

I have crashed a couple of times over the years... the first time everything seemed to be going in slow motion until I hit the car

What do I think after a near miss? Depends on the reason of the near miss. Someone elses is fault I normally think along the lines of "you stupid twat." If it was my own fault I normally think "you stupid twat."
