Megamotorcycles, a.k.a. the old George Whites have the mega sale on again:

https://public.motocom.co.uk/mega_hot/

Might be useful to someone who has any money left.

I beg to differ. They have some awesome branded gear at great prices, better than I've seen anywhere else.....they also sell some overpriced accesories, but that's not the reason we go there. We go there for the obviously stupidly great buys - if they're in your size.

I bought this very suit ::Link:: for £399. For the link clicking lazy out there, they're still selling the same suit at J&S for £549.

Also bought these for £75 when the cheapest I could find at the time were £220.

I won't bore you with the helmets gloves locks chains etc etc I've bought from there, but for having not walked in the store with a handheld device to compare on something that peaks your interest is unfair.

Your opinion to "give it a miss", is your choice, but to say I could have got my suit or boots cheaper elsewhere....?.....I'd like to see you try.

fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion, as am I.

but, that arlen ness suit? a 10 second google found this https://www.modulemoto.co.uk/arlen-ness-leather-motorcycle-suits/arlen-ness-9473-suit-black-white-grey.html

for only £26 more. ok, i concede its more, but only £26, hence the, admittedly sweeping, statement "no cheaper than anyone else". couldnt be bothered to google much more than that.

Thumbs Up

Their big sales when they use the tent or warehouse to get rid of old stock can be epic (if you get there early on day 1). I've been to 3 this year and have had over £1000 worth of clothing and lids for not a lot over £200. I rarely bother with the main store bit the savings are not that great (in comparison to sales that pop up online through the year).
