Afternoon chaps!

Well after searching for a while I took the plunge and bought my first bike - its a 2001 CBR 600F with just over 19k miles.

I'm looking forward to putting in some miles on it in the coming months.

Thanks to all those who weighed in with advice in my other posts when I was looking!

Thanks!

Yeah his son was there when I was picking it up and he said his dad spends more time cleaning his bikes than riding them!

Black tank pad and a carbon or all-silver can and that'll look awesome. Bloody clean bike for its age.

Agreed with the comments above, that's very tidy. Carbon can, decent tank pad, loads of ACF required.

Good luck on a Supercorsa front at this time of year Thumbs Up

Good bike, had the FS (two seats) for a few years and never missed a beat. Threw in there a K&N air filter and a Micron carbon and got even better. Damn, miss it already...

Enjoy Wink

I have ordered some Pilot Road 3's - kudos on knowing what the front tyre was from the thread pattern!

Yeah the tank pad is a bit naff alright, its on the list of things to change...

Is a K&N air filter worth doing? I was just going to go with a standard filter when I was servicing it.

I do like that generation of CBR, my ex had a yellow one until a taxi decided to re-configure the whole front end....
