hi all
i need some help, i have a 100cc vivacity (old but i love riding it) and the immobilizer doesn't pick up my keys any more so i cant ride, is there a way to bypass it? (my local garage said they could try and replace it but the part is quite expensive)
any help is greatly appreciated
P.S no the bike is not stolen before anyone says, i have owned it for the past two months, before me it was my brothers for three years who brought the bike second hand from a work friend who was scrapping it. |

Might be worth having a look at the pickup coil in the ignition switch housing, to see if it has come loose and moved.
I had a similar issue with a car once - the coil had only moved about 1/2 inch, but that was enough to prevent the car starting. Using Araldite to re-position it, worked for me. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)
