OH is in a mad rush to take em down by the first week of Jan tops
Muggins here has to take the carcass of the now deceased tree to the dump as well as get up a fakin high ladder to take the external lights down.
I did leave them on the whole year lest year to prove a point Laughing

It takes only a few seconds for our Christmas Tree to go back to its box.
So no set date. We will do it when we feel like it.

Because of kids I'll probably leave it for a few more days.

Left them up for a year once, pure lazyness plus it brightened the flat up a bit.

Normally though, time up is proportional to time spent putting them up.
Given I spent £28 on 5 mtrs of 5050 LED's, tinsel, a switch, a solar panel and hours bodging it into an old motorbike battery for a subtle effect. They will remain a bit longer.

Jan 2nd at the earliest.

Jan 1st is too early, and is a public holiday.

Couldn't stand it when family members got up early on Jan 1st and took it all down and declared Christmas was over, it wasn't even lunch time yet.

It's 358 days until Christmas, and people round by us have already put their decorations up. Happens earlier every year.

I like how this looks so I might as well just leave it on all year round.

Usually the weekend closest to New Year. So either the weekend between Xmas and New Year, or the weekend just after New Year... so it'll be coming down in the next 2 days.

12th night here but didn't put anything up until Christmas eve.
I didn't plan to as I was working right up to 8pm that day but I
got a free (real) tree at B and Q when I popped in there for
some gripfill so I thought I may as well put a few bits of tat up as well.
Tree was supposed to be £1 but there wasn't a barcode so the dolly bird
at the Trade Point counter said to just take it.
