hi all

ive been using my vivacity for about two months, its a fairly old bike but i love it.

the only problem im having is that about a week ago i tried to get back from work (around a 10 mile trip going one way so i needed my bike to get back) and the bike had immobilized itself, that's what myself and others think has happened, i called the RAC out to have a look at it but they couldn't sort it out and today a family friend who works on vespas (probably spelt it wrong) pulled it apart and found nothing wrong and thinks its the immobilizer playing up or braking.

so my question is does anyone know if there is a way to bypass it so i wont have to pay out around £100 getting my keys and immobilizer changed?.

any help is greatly appreciated as the sooner im back on the road the less money i have to spend on bus fares .

I think you want something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100cc-Peugeot-VIVACITY-CDI-Immobiliser-ACI100-Bypass-ACI100-01-ACI100-02-/261446530481 (look around for better price/etc) it bypasses the immobiliser and rev limiter

hi all i recently posted in the forums about having problems with my immobilizer not picking up my keys, it was suggested that i should check my pick up coil in the ignition switch housing.

my question is what should the coil read on a multimeter for a peugeot vivacity 100cc as i can check it no problem but i dont know what it should read between, any help is greatly appreciated. Smile
