Arrow YN04 ECV
Arrow 2004 RS50 in Black

The bike belongs to a mate, and was stolen from outside his house in Kimberworth in Rotherham last night. The bike's front fairing panels have been resprayed matt black, with "World SBK Championship" stickers on either side of the bike, and a "Think Bike" strip on the screen. The temperature guage is missing the glass front, and the rev counter has a dint on the bottom of the dial. Other distinguishing marks include scuffs/scratches to the rear right hand panel, and to the front right panel, just in front of the bar. The bike also has a smashed right mirror.

they will probably sell the parts on ebay or something. i guess the parts are good business and therefore these cunts keep doing it. it may be expensive, but i am going to put on the best security i can when i get a bike. i got a nice lock and chain (almark chain/squire lock) which received top marks on ride magazine. i didnt plan to buy an alarm / immmboliser but there have been so many posts about stolen bikes, so i think its the wise thing to do now.

:/ hope your mate gets it back somehow.

Usually you find bikes are mostly stolen to order to be stripped for parts or kept as a whole and reprayed so that the thief can buy drugs or it's to make easy money and if it's not that then no doubt it's either been thrashed within a day or two on some nearby town's field/hill side to be burned out as to leave no fingerprints/DNA for the Police!

That's why security micro dotting your bike will help deter the pros from nicking your bike and stripping it for parts because dots will allow the Police to return stolen parts to the owner if found during a raid by them.

I'll also keep an eye out on Ebay and I've already quick look but I don't see anything looking like those panels on their as yet!

It'll be kids. It's probably dumped on a local field somewhere. Can't see pros wanting to steal that.

Hope it turns up Thumbs Up
