so my old gortex boots were fooked...tried sticking the sole then taping it etc but went for a new pair of alpinestar boots drystar on the net.
nice looking boots but much less feel to them on the bike...I found the bike much harder to ride and started thinking about everything again which has nearly led to a drop and a few wobbles .
Amazing what makes a difference to the ride..

My Held boots were great, except for one major flaw, the rubber pads for protecting against wear from the gear lever wore through then split then opened up around the edge where they were sewn in from behind. so in summery theyre shite. Other than that though theyre good boots so if you see a pair of Helds that don't have the rubber toa pads sewn in from behind through a hole in the leather then they would be fine.

So in conclusion, are they shite or great?

My new TCX infinity boots have just arrived (literally minutes ago.) Just got one on at the moment. Got them from Lids direct, as linked to from this forum some weeks ago...
