hi all. iv got a problem with my mini dirt bike. it just wont start, iv put a new carb and filter, new spark plug and the thing still wont start. the only way iv found that will start it is if i pour fuel where the spark plug go's. so can some please advise me on how to sort it.

iv posted on a mini moto forum but got no reply so i thought id ask on here.

Has it got fresh fuel in the tank? And is the fuel filter (if it has one) clean. Also try starting it with the fuel cap removed, as it could be creating a vacum.

thanks for the reply. yeah its got a fuel filter and its got fresh fuel in it. im thinking on buying a new fuel filter as there only cheap. il try it with the fuel cap removed in the morning.

hi we have bought our son a dragon xf mini dirt bike he has only ridden it for 1 hour ,he went to start it today and as he pulled the pull start it sounds like something has come loose or adrift, has anybody any suggestions maurice

Look for things which are loose or adrift, and then tighten them?
