My symtec ones fit under the grips. I've fitted three sets now and have always managed to remove the original grips then fit them back on top.
You'd destroy the heating element trying to remove it (its a flexible sticker with a heating element built-in that sticks to the handlebar under the grip) but if you wanted rid of them, you could just cut the wires and there would be no evidence of them being there. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink.
