I have acquired a Honda CB500R from a rather lovely chap who is shortly of to Aussie (smegballs).

I am going to do a write up on getting it back to life and possibly on the road, pictures to follow.

To start me of on this journey would any of you kind chaps/chapesses have a link to an online PDf or the like manual??

Alex

The fact that it isn't a CB500R might have helped when asking for the manual!

I'm confused then as it states:

Model: Honda CB500
Code: R
Year: 1993/4/5

it is then superceded by the CB500S/T/V etc etc

Confused

For future reference what model should I call it as I expect as the project comes along I will be seeking other advice.

There was a CBR500, which was one version of the Hurricane. There was also a ZZR500 and other in-line fours with 500cc versions of the proper 600cc bikes. Thumbs Up

There was also the ''Cup'' version, but I'm not sure what was different about it in comparison with a standard CB.

But, for any normal person who wants basic work books on their bike, its a CB500, the rest is likely minor changes like gash fairing etc.
