That's a lot of money for a shock that might well go pop again after five minutes...
Have you looked at aftermarket options like Hagon etc?
A Hagon is only £300 and it'll probably be better than the Indian OEM pile of rubbish...

Have you tried a dedicated KTM forum?
You might be lucky and find a cheaper rear shock that fits yours, from another model or make.
Several KTM rear shocks on eBay for under £100 - but did you get other quotes for a rebuild? ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

Send it off to mct as they'll service it for you and set it up for your weight for about £100-£150 delivered back to you.

There are plenty of people around who can service a KTM shock for you,especially if it is a WP shock.
As well as MCT https://www.k-tech.uk.com/ also have a good reputation ____________________ Just talk bikes.What else is there?
