MCN Bike Show

Is anyone going to Alexandra Palace for the bike show this weekend or next week at all?


I'm tempted as A: I've never been to a bike sow and missed the NEC in November. And B: I'm looking at getting some leathers for trackdays and thought there might be some good deals to be had.

However, from here it's just a pain in the arse to get to.

Just wondering if there is a BCF plan to g as a big group or meet-up etc.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, I couldn't see another thread though.

i don't know if theres a plan from bcf, but i am going to go. it will be my first time to a bike show. i think there will be great deals on old stuff!

Went a couple of years ago and wasn't hugely impressed - good if you want to buy gear though.

They usually run a free bus from the tube station, so it's not as much of a pain.

I went either last year or the year before (shite memory y'see ) and didn't find the biking gear to be much cheaper than in the shops. Tbh I wasn't impressed...

So it's the 5the then deffo? That way i can see if i can get nuff cash for stuff like "KRIPTONITE DISK LOCKS " Any place on where we'll be meeting? 60mph convoy it is - that's if my bike can hit that speed Err, anybody with a 600 willing to throw a leash so that i'd have a chance of hitting 75?

I'm heading up to the MCN show on the 5th. Desperately need a new helmet as the screws are starting to rust away in all this winter salt!!

Have any of you had any luck trying to purchase the tickets online - they somehow keep rejecting my solo card even though it should accept it when i've selected "Switch". Really annoying, so i'm wondering if any guys have actually tried to order from www.londonmotorcycleshow.com site. Will try again by fone 2moro

OKAY IMPORTANT

I've been chatting 2 Smoto and stuff and since i've been readin the AZ in the bog since i were a little kid, any people wanting to ride off to Ally Pally from the north can join the Herts crew.

The meet for those going on the 5th will be at the ESSO petrol station on the junction between the A5 and A41 (near M1 jct 3) and near the Royal Orthopedic hospital in Stanmore at hmm 11:00.

From there it'll be straight onto the 41, then the 406 east then some back roads once we get to Bounds Green.

Err, Chris, consider your GPS redundant lol

We want as big a FOOK off group we can so we can tear it down the A41 through Mill Hill. I know riding in groups is unhealthy, but i'd say 8 bcfers will make for a very "Nutritious" group if we can get that much . So PM me for further details..
