Add manual cluch to semi-auto bike?

hi, so the story goes that i had a scooter but wanted a bike, i had a limited amount of money for a new bike with a warranty, and i was afraid of gears at the time. so i decided to buy a kymco k-pipe, and its been an okay bike for me, but now i really want manual gears, i despise the semi-auto gears and is really putting a downer on what is otherwise a really nice bike to ride. ive seen some people on the internet adding a manual clutch to some semi-auto pit bikes and i was hoping with the k-pipe having the same style engine that it might be possible. so what im hoping for is someone to point me in the right direction. thanks

What's the point of a warranty if you are going hack about with it in such a way. Just buy an olg geared bike it will be better in every way and cheaper than trying to do what you are planning.

I is probable possible if you are a good mechanic / engineer

The engine is a copy of a Honda "lay Down " engine like used in the cub /c90

Easiest solution would be a manual pit bike engine

BUT you need to inform you insurers many will not insure bike with non standard engines for young riders others will load 100% and up

just fit a yx 160 lump in it or sell ya kymco and buy a propper bike
