As I live probably less than ten miles from OP, I can confirm a few inches of snow.

Personally I did a risk assessment at 5:30 this morning, decided to fuck off driving to Nottingham and worked from home instead. It's also forecast to snow again most of today.

Can you locate some sort of inexhaustible supply of hot air to melt the snow?

Not easily defeated I went out with the boiled kettle ten minutes after I initially gave up however it started snowing again the snow wins.

You would be better off going at it with a shovel. Pouring water over it will just turn the snow to ice and making it worse.

Got up dressed and into my rain suit went out to a snow covered Varadero wheeled it back down the path with great difficulty on to the street fired it up did a 45 degree wheel spin turned it off pulled the keys out went back inside leaving it where it is.

I wouldn't have made it to Bradford even if I struggled and pushed my bike to the main road.

This has cost me one day's pay possibly tomorrow as well looking at the weather forecast. Mad

Why not just give your employer a ring? They could pick you up...

Firstly, you're a faggot.

When it snowed badly last time we took my Corsa B and Paddy's Varadero out for a ride through some heavily snowed lanes for the lulz. It diddn't get stuck and Paddy diddn't fall off, you're just riding like a fucktard as per normal. (The bike seemed to work better with a pillion however.) I also greenlaned a Varadero 125 on road rubber and in really sloppy mud, so can also vouch for its ease to ride in slippery conditions.

Secondly, no - I'm not stuck as I purchased this for the unlikely event that we do get snow as I diddn't fancy freezing;

Can confirm traffic bad getting into Leeds. This mainly because (a) bin collection day so a mobile chicane (b) people driving at 20mph on a nsl just in case (although said nsl gritted and no compacted ice).

Had to take car to drop missus into work. Took us nearly 90 minutes to do a journey that would normally be under 30 mins.

I hate commuting!

I'm not sure it gets much clearer than that Laughing

Also, during the same heavy snow my saftey concious mother insisted on giving me a lift to work. This ended up with her getting the car stuck. I got home, hopped on the Bandit and rode it in anyway.

You'd rather a day off because lazy fucker. Wink

I'm on the outskirts of Bradford and go into Leeds centre. It's snowing for sure.

Hope I can get home later. I've got a crash barred up CG, course I will!

Despite the forecast stating we'd get snow falling here from 8pm last night and right through the early hours, there's not a single snow flake to be seen.

Yep.

It's great!

Buxton and the Peaks covered.

We're about 3 miles from the Cat & Fiddle. You can see the latest here

Narnia Cam

We're going nowhere and I don't care! I'm like a kid everytime it snows here. Don't want to play or go out in it but enjoy watching RWD cars trying to get past our house. Tut Tut
