i am potentially off to see a Gixxer at the weekend, any known issues with this model??

I know what im looking for mostly just after if theres anything model specific to keep an eye out for.

k1 will have the mild steel exhaust so make sure its not rusted through.

Other than that they are fairly solid.

Well ive got no plans to be a skinhead and my leathers fit properly and are black and white, oh and they are a 2 piece.


However i am soon to be the 2nd owner of a K1 600 Gixxer with only 4000 miles on the clock and a decent service history.
