I'm finally trying to get round to replacing my smashed ZX9 fairings (insurance payout, yay), but I can't seem to find any good ones.

Can only find E model fairings in the paint scheme I want.

I want the West colour scheme - https://i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/1717148301/Free-shipping-Hot-sale-West-font-b-98-b-font-99-font-b-ZX9R-b-font.jpg

There are plenty on this Ali Express, but the website looks questionable to say the least. Does anybody have any experience of a good site outside of eBay to get some fairings?

I'd choose a different scheme but my tank is black, so I don't want to faff around trying to get that sprayed as well.

I'm pretty sure that's ali baba, they're starting to attack the west to fight eBay and the likes.

Pretty sure it's a legit site.

I know it's not too helpful but here's another opinion regarding dodgy or not.

I've used Ali Express before, albeit for a smaller item than fairings Laughing My item came from China in the end, so may need to watch out for import charges! Apart from taking around 3 weeks to arrive, all went smoothly

Not bought fairings on there before but used Alibaba/AliExpress loads of times.

AliExpress is just a version of Alibaba but with western aimed front end and payment system. I find you can usually get stuff cheaper on Alibaba, just with more hassle trying to order and pay for it.

Very happy with mine. I think all these fairings come from one factory, I don't know how they do it for the price.

Looks pretty good! Where'd you get those from?

I just don't want to pay and not receive anything, that's my biggest issue.

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=293564&highlight=

This was what I got for about 270 quid with a Chinese seller on ebay. I actually ended up getting a full refund. I asked for a partial refund and they refused, saying I needed to send the whole lot back, I said I had modified them to fit so they said returns were invalid. Sent pics etc to ebay and they refunded the whole amount.

They've held up pretty well so far, but definitely not the best quality I've seen. I've also seen on various forums (BIRD, TLZONE and some GSXR one) people have bought the same fairings kit and some have been perfect fits, others slightly off.

I'm sick of looking at this:

Does this look legit?

So many possible issues from what I've read injection moulded fairings are the best - the tabs aren't glued on. Finding some will be hard as they appear to all use the same stock images, and I wouldn't put it past them to just say injection in the listing.

If you have a friend that can speak a little Chinese look at taobao, fairing kits like that can be under £100 and some sellers will ship to the UK for not a lot more so you can get the stuff for under 200 notes.

Failing that alibaba/aliexpress should be legit to order from.
