Hi All,

New member form Bristol here.

Got my Mod 2 tomorrow at 1, let's hope for second time lucky hey?

Bought a 2001 Hornet 600 a couple of weeks ago and I'm itching to pass and get out on it.

So yeah, hello.

Turning right at a roundabout from 50 to a 30 with a crossing, I made the car brake behind me.

I thought it was a load of bollocks because they had to slow down anyway.

I also got a couple of minors for observations. Been doing them in the car to practice. My girlfriend thinks I look like a broken nodding dog.

Other than, that he said it was a good ride.

Ahhh it'll be a breeze. Just watch out for the 20's everywhere and use your indies around their roundabouts.
Thumbs Up

Good luck. If it makes you feel any better, I failed twice on my mod 1 there; once for the emergency stop, once for a flat tyre... so you're already doing better than me. 9 faults on my mod 2 pass too Whistle

Still alive a few years later though Razz

Did mine at 1pm too; avoids the school/work run 'hazards' at least Thumbs Up

Try and get one for about 5pm, with normal Bristol traffic you'd probably only move about 500ft in half an hour Laughing

I had to look up what "Fail" meant in a dictionary. Still can't grasp the concept Laughing

Good luck for your test and enjoy the experience.

If you are really lucky, I'll go wazzing past you at warp speed. That way the instructer will be complaining about my riding rather than yours.

Bad news, another fail after messing up on the roundabout to Pucklechurch. Don't know that area at all. Other than that it was a clean sheet. So livid right now.

All booked in again for a fortnight Tuesday. Might have to go for a drive around that way to familiarise myself.

After passing my driving test 11 years ago first time without minors I am truly gutted.

It's a round a bout off the ring road, I was probably wrong with the location, but you can take the slip road off and you come to a roundabout without markings, you can go straight on and rejoin the dual carriageway or you can take a right out to a village. I was in the left hand lane my instructor was behind a car and was told to go right at the roundabout. So I cut across without indicating. Moment of madness as I haven't been there before.

Don't be, it's a chilled out ride. I made a mistake and didn't realise. Felt like it went really well. Just need to relax.

Who have you been learning with?
