I'm thinking of replacing my Samsung android tablet with a windows one as I really like my windows phone. Budget is sub £150. Any recommendations?

Cheers

Posting on the 8" Linx tablet I got for 99 quid. I've been well impressed with it given the price point. Got a case with integrated bluetooth keyboard which makes typing doable yet the whole shebang is still way lighter and more compact than my old notebook. Obviously being a full version or 8.1 means that any normal windows programs will work which is awesome.

Nice

£89.99 Can get £30 cash back on old tablets......

1280x800 IPS display
Quad-Core Intel Atom procesor, 1Gb RAM, 32Gb internal storage
2MP front and rear cameras
Windows OS
Office 365 Personal subscription included

So if you take the office subs into account. They are paying you for the tablet.... Mr. Green

Honestly think MS have struck gold with this new wave of 8.1 tablets, really really nice bits of kit for the money, hugely impressive compared to the competition Thumbs Up

Only one gig of ram and obviously an unknown quantity (Chinese factory trying to cut out middle man) but these are new and cheap.

It's the bay trail atom quad cores that have made intel tablets practical, still not as good as a full blown computer but I have noticed a few 10" netbooks that have pretty much identical specs to the tablets (same cpu,ram etc).

Lidl are doing a medion 10" tablet for £150 with a hd screen 2gb ram and 32 gb storage but it's on kitkat android not win 8.1 but being bay trail I am pretty sure you could load win 8.1 on somehow.

In Sainsbury so blew my nectar points on an 8inch Lind. So far almost good. The free office 365 just won't install so put a query to the Microsoft community. Not holding out much hope though.
