Looks like you hit a wet pitch line, but don't understand why that had you off, not like you had it cranked over. Thinking I thought maybe you gave it too much throttle on that line, but then realised it's a Divvy, so that can't be Laughing

You ok?

Unlucky, I hate those strips. They have been slowly ruining my commute with them. It just makes my bike track along them and I hate the feeling, like when a tyre is squared off.

It happened very quickly, even if it is sped up a bit, it looks like it was done and dusted before you knew what had happened. I have banged my head off the floor a few times. It makes a funny echoing noise inside the lid and you realise how lucky you are. Thumbs Up Mr. Green

There are a few similar roads here, I always move into the other lane before snapping the throttle back to avoid slides.

Unlucky, still surprised it didn't snap back on you...

On the GIF, it looks like someone drives straight past your mangled corpse, I guess they thought you were beyond help...

I hope you make a speedy recovery and that the bike isn't too bad. Don't hang up the helmet just yet, you'll learn from your mistake, whatever it may have been... Thumbs Up

Bike may be cursed now, best sell it to BodyGuard.

Looks as though that car was fixing to ram you off the road anyway.

Been to the sawbones?

Man that sucks!

Occasionally the highways agency (or is it the Council) decide to remove the middle white line in an effort to slow drivers and improve road safety......

With my relatively (in)experienced riding, I can't understand wtf happened there, apart from you kissing tarmac.

Voted to MTFU and carry on anyway. Thumbs Up

Are you in competition with Smiler?

Have you never seen a black tarmac snake before?

Also with Rogerborg on the ford getting ready to side swipe you...

Shit happens, now you know to avoid overbanding.

TBF, you could probably ride over that strip another 100 times and not have that outcome, but it shows it doesn't do to get complacent.

GWS Thumbs Up

BTW, what were you thinking of trying to overtake so close to a bend?

That isn't really a bend. My wording was weird, I mean't I wouldn't have overtaken on that road surface, bad choice.

That is in no way shape or form a bend, you can clearly see the road progressing on. That is doable on 1 wheel.

Ya, looks a bit like a bend but it actually isn't, it's after a small gentle bend, green bin where the black car is, visibility is good

evidentally a better road when google visited
