Unlucky, I hate those strips. They have been slowly ruining my commute with them. It just makes my bike track along them and I hate the feeling, like when a tyre is squared off.
It happened very quickly, even if it is sped up a bit, it looks like it was done and dusted before you knew what had happened. I have banged my head off the floor a few times. It makes a funny echoing noise inside the lid and you realise how lucky you are.

Yeah a few people stopped, a biker turned around and came back to check I was ok which was nice of him
headllight and clocks damaged, bar ends and engine bars helped
bike is chained to a pole on that road still, too fucked to deal with it right now
