yesterday I rode that same lane again, the puddle I dropped it in is at about 3.30 (I think)

I know some here comment on how slow I am , but this for me was fast, fastest I've ridden this lane before, slowed down for the killer puddle though.

Don't worry too much about speed on a green lane. Like in that video, there were a pair of walkers coming the other way, imagine doing 50MPH down there on slippy mud, with compromised road legal knobblies and typical trailie brakes, not good.

But pay and play sites, they're a different matter. I find myself repeating my mantra. "You have no skill, make up for it with balls." Then I can attempt to keep up with far better riders than me, to a point, I then lose control and come off due to crappy body positioning and finesse. My logic being that skill will come with crashes.
