I've been in this flat since the end of January 2014 and after several dozen phone calls to get the electricity bills switched over to me I was eventually told I had to "wait for my customer reference number to be sent out". So I waited.... and waited..... and waited, but still nothing.

I decided to start hounding them just before Christmas, and now FINALLY they have sorted everything out (and I'll be getting a key meter fitted in a couple of weeks).

Then the matter of my first electricity bill Evil or Very Mad

£96.00 for the year Very Happy

It has caught up, and it's still £96, (basically I made reasonable efforts to sort it all just after I moved in here, they messed up so could only charge me from the middle of November)

How do they sleep? Well.....

........Directors, Executives and shareholders sleep soundly in the softest feather beds, cocooned in thick Egyptian cotton sheets on pillows of the finest down plucked from baby Owls. They wear night garments spun from the finest, rarest soft silks from the farthest corners of China, woven by small children whose hands are not yet calloused by servitude.

Their bedroom temperature is set to optimum regardless of weather, to their exact preference, because they can afford their bills.

They are woken each morning by softly spoken flunkies, who serve them breakfast of scrambled, endangered, birds eggs on silver platters with ivory-handled supping spoons.

All this because the thieving, bloated capitalists bought what was originally ours and run it for enormous profit, which funds their lavish lifestyle.

Curse you Thatcher, privatisation one of the greatest evils of the 20th century.

Edited on account of living with a comma nazi.......,
