The actual motor cycle mechanic books are really interesting just on their own. Quite funny looking at the adverts and seeing an arc welder for £9.99 though. Laughing

The 1976 Kawasaki Z900 review starts by complaining that "Inevitably pollution and safety paranoia is catching up with Kawasaki". That sounds familiar today Smile

The very first bike mag that I bought was the June '75 BIKE magazine and I still have it.Several of the others shown on that link are also in a box somewhere in the loft, which are all an insight into my youth and beginnings on a motorbike Wink

Could just have waited for Tef to finish reading them and then post 10,000 word corrections.

Each.

When I occasionally used to go to the 59 club just off Hackney Road, they had a room with what seemed to be every motorcycle magazine ever produced since the late 60s.

It was like heaven's version of a doctor's waiting room.

The best bits were the small adverts in the back for things like open face helmet visors with spinning fronts or aerodynamic fins for crash helmets.
