I can imagine it's the future, or it will end up being some sort of law eventually.

I won't be getting one though, not a bit of me!

I like it, but I don't like the idea of adding my helmet to the amount of stuff I have to charge nowadays.

I dont mind the lights on the back but the ones on the front would be a PITA when you look in your mirrors.

Not that it's illegal or anything, but I wonder why they didn't go for white at the front and red at the back?

4 x £1 purchases at Poundland (LED headlamp, LED bicycle rear light, cable ties, pack of AAAs) would convert any helmet into a... hmm... I'll be back later.

Why are your mirrors angled so you can see your face?

I think its based on the s900. I tried one recently, felt nicely put together with vents that won't disintegrate the first time you flail at them with winter mittens on. The sunvisor smacks me in the nose though, so if same fit won't work for me. I have a speed r which has a different sunvisor and dd ring strap. It's nice, fits well, doesn't stink like cheap trainer, is reasonably quiet at motorway speed. Both s900 and speed r have much channeling in the eps for air movement, and mine feels very breezy with the vents open. Chin vent directs air directly up at visor for rapid demist. I have been much impressed with shark helmets.

Must read paddy's review

I'll be off to order a matt black one as soon as I get paid out for the job
I am doing at the mo.
May need to go and check sizing first in case it's a different fit to my speed R.

As usual, I think more of their R&D budget should have been spent on developing a visor you can actually see through on a wet winters night.

That would be a complete waste of R&D money.

Everybody knows that people don't ride bikes when it's wet, they don't ride in winter, and they especially don't ride at night.

(You might, and I might, and a couple of people I know might - but we make up the minority.)
