:oops: hi everyone,ive just bought a 2000 vfr800 with just 21600 mls,full service history,riding back to wakefield from Skegness it was running at around 73 degrees on a cool day but idling at 1800 rpm.The fuel consumption was very good indicating its not running too rich but the previous owner said the bike had hardly been used in the last 3 years probably only covering 2500 /3000mls in that time.Any ideas,thanks. :oops:

Wax idle unit might be stuck, airbox off and give it a wiggle and douse with spray lube.
